Supposedly this weekend it's summer, but I don't think San Francisco got the memo. Today I woke up with a healthy hang over and determination to get something done. A ll that changed when I heard this remix by Dam Funk of my favorite AC song at the moment, Summertime Clothes. Instead, I spent the entire morning listening to it, wishing that I could wear my summertime clothes and drinking V8. Check it out.

I think that anything that has been touched by Fred Falke, Kris Menace or Lifelike is usually coming from a similar place in house music. That place seems wonderful, like the first time Dorothy and gang come upon the Crystal City when seeking the Wizard of Oz. The bi-yearly Kitsuné Maison compilation continues with Kitsuné Maison 7, the lucky one. I've always been a fan of the Kitsuné comps, mostly for the fact that they're always centered around pop friendly music, and that they give decent artists decent exposure.
